Synthesis of Au nanoparticle–conductive polyaniline composite using H2O2 as oxidising as well as reducing agent
TL;DR: A new method of synthesis of an Au nanoparticle-conductive polyaniline composite is reported by using H2O2 both for reduction of HAuCl4 and polymerization of aniline in the same aqueous medium, with electrical conductivity measured to be two orders of magnitude higher than the polymer itself.

Retention of Enzymatic Activity of α-Amylase in the Reductive Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles
Abhijit Rangnekar,Tridib K. Sarma,Atul K. Singh,Jashmini Deka,Aiyagari Ramesh,Arun Chattopadhyay +5 more
TL;DR: The generation of Au nanoparticles (NPs) is reported, using a pure enzyme for the reduction of AuCl4-, with the retention of enzymatic activity in the complex.

Protonation-coupled redox reactions in planar antiaromatic meso-pentafluorophenyl-substituted o-phenylene-bridged annulated rosarins
Masatoshi Ishida,Soo Jin Kim,Christian Preihs,Kei Ohkubo,Jong Min Lim,Byung Sun Lee,Jung Su Park,Vincent M. Lynch,Vladimir V. Roznyatovskiy,Tridib K. Sarma,Pradeepta K. Panda,Chang-Hee Lee,Shunichi Fukuzumi,Dongho Kim,Jonathan L. Sessler,Jonathan L. Sessler +15 more
TL;DR: The stepwise nature of the proton-coupled reduction observed in the planar rosarin stands in marked contrast to that seen for non-annulated rosarins and other ostensibly antiaromatic expanded porphyrinoids.

Annulated Isomeric, Expanded, and Contracted Porphyrins
TL;DR: The chemistry of annulated isomeric, expanded, and contracted porphyrins started flourishing recently with considerable efforts over the past few years, as evidenced by an increasing number of publications.

Enhanced in vivo Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Tumors by PEGylated Iron-Oxide–Gold Core–Shell Nanoparticles with Prolonged Blood Circulation Properties
Michiaki Kumagai,Tridib K. Sarma,Horacio Cabral,Sachiko Kaida,Masaki Sekino,Nicholas Herlambang,Kensuke Osada,Mitsunobu R. Kano,Nobuhiro Nishiyama,Kazunori Kataoka +9 more
TL;DR: Results indicate that PEG-AuIONs are a promising MRI contrast agent for diagnosis of malignant tumors, including pancreatic cancer.
