Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques for registering devices with a distributed antenna system (DAS) and managing access to one or more mobile networks provided through the DAS. The DAS may include a centralized hub that may interface with various base stations to provide one or more mobile networks in a DAS deployment. In some embodiments, the centralized hub may communicate with one or more remote units that convert signals received from the centralized hub to be communicated using one of the distributed antennas. When a device attempts to connect to the mobile network, an access manager in the DAS can determine whether the device can access the mobile network. Access can be determined based on device registration with the DAS. In various embodiments, different service levels may be made available to different users, devices, types of traffic, etc. by the DAS.

Techniques for device registration and prioritization in a cellular as a service environment

A utility application for a mobile device inspects data packets from other mobile applications running on the device to gather and record usage data about those applications. Since users of the utility application may not reflect the true population for which the usage data is desired, a system de-biases the data reported from the utility applications using a machine learning model to predict demographics of the users of the utility application. To determine a training data set for the model, the system requests a user to provide a desired user attribute by way of an in-app questionnaire. This enables labeling utility usage data with the demographics, which can be weighted and extrapolated to determine usage across the population as a whole.

The disclosure is directed to a network gateway device (“gateway”) that provides various network management features, including a device zoning feature in which client computing devices (“client devices”) connected to the gateway are assigned to different device zones. The client devices connected to the gateway form a local area network (LAN) of the gateway, and can access an external network, e.g., Internet, using the gateway. Each of the device zones has a specific set of network access privileges. Different device zones can have different network access privileges and can provide device isolation in the LAN at different degrees.

A method and system for receiving, processing, storing and sending data of internet connected devices, within an individual encrypted user environment. In a setup process the device sends a request to a server system to connect to the user environment. The server then presents a web page to the user containing the details of this request. The user can subsequently allow or not allow the device to connect to the user environment. If the user allows the device to send data, the application is searched within the user environment on the server system for correctly receiving and sending data from and to this device. In a use example an application running within the individual environment on the server system collects, processes or sends sensor data from devices connected to the individual environment and other applications within the same user environment.

Method and system for receiving, processing, storing and sending data of internet connected devices

The disclosure is directed to systems and methods for secure policies-based information governance. In various embodiments exemplary methods include displaying a Graphical User Interface (GUI), the graphical user interface receiving a business rule input from a business user; receiving a policy from a policy engine based on the business rule input, the policy engine generating a policy hierarchy; and defining a plurality of domain objects and a plurality of domain object representations in the Graphical User Interface (GUI) based on the policy and the policy hierarchy. Furthermore, exemplary methods include defining an extensible hierarchical domain model definition using the policy hierarchy, the extensible hierarchical domain model definition being modified using the plurality of domain object representations in the Graphical User Interface (GUI); and defining a Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) in an application based on the extensible hierarchical domain model definition.

Systems and Methods for Secure Policies-Based Information Governance

A system comprises a policy storage separately located relative to the user device, the policy database arranged to store information indicative of at least one usage policy set applicable to at least one respective user device. The system is arranged to store user device identification information for each user device associated with the system, the user device identification information being indicative of and unique to a user device associated with the system and being stored separately relative to the user device. The system is also arranged to associate a usage policy set with a user device using the device identification information unique to the user device. The system is also arranged to determine a usage request from a user device and to allow or deny the usage request based on the at least one usage policy set associated with the user device.
