In this case, the load receiving section has a training utensil to which at least a part of the lower limb of the user is pressed, and a foot placing section on which the foot sole of the user is placed. The load sensor detects the load which is applied to the load receiving section. The arithmetic unit calculates the lower limb physical strength of the user based on the load. Provided are a noninvasive muscle fatigue evaluation method and muscle fatigue evaluation system which can accurately evaluate muscle fatigue that occurs when a non-constant load is applied to a specific muscle. Specifically, at least two electrodes (10, 20) are disposed at a prescribed interval on the surface of a living body. A first voltage V1 generated when a first external resistor (Rg1) is connected in parallel, and a second voltage V2 when a second external resistor (Rg2) is connected in parallel between the two electrodes are measured. A biological impedance between the two electrodes on a muscle region under the surface of the living body is calculated on the basis of a voltage ratio V1/V2 of the first voltage V1 and the second voltage V2, and local muscle fatigue is evaluated in the muscle region on the basis of a temporal change in the calculated biological impedance.

SOLUTION: A plurality of electrodes are brought into contact with respective regions of a living body to measure bioelectric impedances, and the quantities of the muscle and maximum voluntary muscle force of the regions, for example, both hands and feet of the subject are calculated from the measured bioelectric impedances. Further, loads of several stages are applied to the muscles to measure a mechanomyogram and the data of the mechanomyogram is subjected to frequency analysis to calculate the data of average frequency and amplitude while the active mass (firing frequency) of muscular fibers is calculated from the inflection point of the data to judge the type and fatigue of the muscle (muscular fibers) of the subject.
