An embodiment of the present invention discloses a cross-system data sharing method, an auxiliary stream gateway, a conference server and a controller. The abovementioned method includes: the auxiliary stream gateway receives a code stream sent by a software conference system; the auxiliary stream gateway converts the code stream received from the software conference system into the auxiliary stream meeting requirements of a hardware conference system and used for sharing, and sends the converted and obtained auxiliary stream to the hardware conference system; the auxiliary stream gateway receives the auxiliary stream sent by the hardware conference system; and the auxiliary stream gateway converts the auxiliary stream received from the hardware conference system into a code stream meeting requirements of the software conference system requirements and used for sharing, and sends the converted and obtained code stream to the software conference system. In view of the above, in the embodiment of the present invention, under the premise that the sharing modes of the software conference system and the hardware conference system per se are not changed, cross-system data sharing is achieved.
