PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water type heating system which does not require time and labor for setting the present time of a remote controller, and the remote controller used for it. SOLUTION: The hot water type heating system has hot water heater 4 and 12 which heat air, using the hot water supplied from a heat source unit 1, and the remote controllers 8 and 16 which have clock mechanisms and compare the present time outputted from the clock mechanisms with the set timer time and control the hot water heaters 4 and 12. Moreover, a centralized controller 2, which performs data communication between the remote controllers 8 and 16, is built in the heat source unit 1. Furthermore, the remote controllers 8 and 16 are provided with present time distributors 9 and 17 which distribute the present time concerned to other clock mechanisms through the centralized controller 2 when the present time of either clock mechanism is adjusted.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform time correction without causing duplication or deletion of measurement data. SOLUTION: A first time length (delay of 6 minutes), showing delay or lead of an internal clock to the present time (7:00), based on the present time information from an external device, is specified. When the internal clock delays by the first time length, the processing of leading the internal clock by a third time length (3 minutes) shorter than a second time length (4 minutes), between the start time (6:56) of time correcting processing and start time (7:00) of measuring processing to be performed, after time correcting processing is executed as the time correcting processing by a predetermined number of times (2 times), until the first time length becomes a previously specified time length or shorter. When the internal clock leads by the first time length, the processing of delaying the internal clock by a fifth time length which is shorter than a fourth time length between the start time of the previously executed measuring processing; and the start time of the time correcting processing is executed as the time correcting processing by the predetermined number of times until the first time length becomes a previously specified time length or shorter. PURPOSE:To provide a remote monitoring system which can secure the sure and easy matching of clocks between a remote device and a center device and also can surely perform the correct time processing for the remote device. CONSTITUTION:A remote device is connected to center device via a communication circuit. Then the remote device stores the state data to be monitored in a memory 13R by the start of an internal clock 11R and sends the acquired daily report data or the state change data top the center device. The center device sends the time data acquired by its clock 11C to the remote device when the daily report data are received from the remote device. The remote device corrects the time of its clock 11R based on the received time data. Then the matching of clocks is carried out once per day between the center and remote devices. At the same time, it is required to pay regard to prevention of the omission of data or the double processing when the correct time processing is carried out at the remote device.
