Functional city zoning. Environmental assessment of eco-geological substance migration flows
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that certain parameters of "zero-level" pollutant concentration for functional area land use can be developed for each city - the state of the environment before the beginning of a new stage of technogenesis.

Environmental assessment of risks associated with the Ordovician Dictyonema shale in the eastern part of the Baltic Klint
Sergej V. Lebedev,Stanislav V. Dubrova,Petr V. Fedorov,Vitalij V. Kurilenko,Willington Siabato +4 more
- 01 Jan 2018
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the environmental risks associated with the highly radioactive bituminous argillites of the Dictyonema shale seam of the Baltic Sea region and found that the level of the argillite radioactivity has abnormally high value and exceeds the natural background more than ten times.
Simulation of the shielding properties of environmental components against the external radioactive radiation from the Ordovician Dictyonema shale
S. V. Lebedev,Stanislav V. Dubrova,Petr V. Fedorov,Willington Siabato,Vitalij V. Kurilenko +4 more
- 29 May 2020
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the results of simulating the conditions of absorption of natural radionuclides (uranium-238, thorium-232, potassium-40) in different environment media (water and quartz sand) to assess the effect of the shielding properties of environmental components on the intensity of external radiation exposure to the benthic biota.
Regional distribution patterns of heavy metals and radionuclides in the East European Plain
Evgeny M. Nesterov,P. Egorov,Stanislav V. Dubrova,Marina Postolova,Elena Mingareeva,Marianna Markova +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the content of natural radionuclides in carbonate yellow-brown clays was established for the first time, according to the obtained correlation data of radions and gross content of heavy metals and a number of oxides.
