Disclosed are a method and a system for observing pore distribution in a battery cathode, which can clearly observe the distribution of the pores by filling the pores in the battery cathode with an epoxy resin, and can predict the performance of an electrode therethrough. The method for observing the pore distribution in the battery cathode comprises the following steps: injecting an epoxy resin into a battery cathode so as to fill the pores of the battery cathode; fabricating a cross section of the cathode so that the interior of the cathode is exposed; and observing a cross section of the cathode with a scanning electron microscope to confirm the distribution of pores which are distinguished from an active material and a binder by the injected epoxy-based resin.
