Biochemical and molecular effects of glycine betaine treatment on membrane fatty acid metabolism in cold stored peaches
TL;DR: GB treatment could maintain normal cell membrane structure and function through upregulating membrane fatty acid biosynthesis and desaturation metabolism and downregulating caspase activation to alleviate CI in peaches.

Effects of exogenous calcium and calcium chelant on cold tolerance of postharvest loquat fruit
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of CaCl2 and calcium chelant-ethylene glycol bis (2-aminoethyl ether) tetraacetic acid (EGTA) on chilling injury (CI) of postharvest loquat fruit (Eriobotrya japonica L. cv. "Changhong") during cold storage was investigated.

Exogenous 24-epibrassinolide alleviates chilling injury in peach fruit through modulating PpGATA12-mediated sucrose and energy metabolisms.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the potential roles of EBR treatment and transcriptional regulation of PpGATA12 in regulating chilling resistance of peaches, and they found that Ebr treatment promoted the activities and transcriptions of energy and sucrose metabolism-related enzymes, maintained higher ATP content and energy status, improved the accumulation of sucrose and hexose.

CaM enhances chilling tolerance of peach fruit by regulating energy and GABA metabolism
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of calcium chloride (CaCl2), trifluoperazine (TFP) and different storage temperatures on chilling injury (CI) of peach fruit during postharvest storage were studied.

Hydrogen sulfide-induced chilling resistance in peach fruit is performed via sustaining the homeostasis of ROS and RNS.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the impact of H2S application on endogenous H 2S, reactive oxygen species, and reactive nitrogen species (RNS) in cold-stored peach fruit.
