TL;DR: The result shows that arbitrary sequences generated by IKFCM always terminates at a local minimum or saddle point, or at worst, contains a subsequence which converges to a local Minimum or Saddle point of the IK FCM clustering model.

TL;DR: MIUPC as discussed by the authors adopts the subtractive clustering algorithm to initialize the cluster centers of IUPC and also avoids the problem of sensitive to the initializa-tions. But, it has a disadvantage that its feasible region of solutions is determined by the fuzzy c-means algorithm, whose clustering result heavily depends on de the initial centers.
