The data transmission method includes the steps that for a direct memory access channel, an arbitration unit corresponding to the channel is determined from a plurality of arbitration units according to the transmission performance corresponding to data of the channel; when it is determined that channels corresponding to at least two arbitration units have data to transmit, the data are transmitted according to the priority of the at least two arbitration units. The data transmission method and the data transmission equipment achieve the effect that the data corresponding to the channel with the channel data corresponding to good transmission performance are transmitted first, a bus is kept smooth, and thus the data transmission efficiency and the DMA performance are improved.
