From chiral vibration to static chirality in (135)Nd.
S. Mukhopadhyay,D. Almehed,U. Garg,S. Frauendorf,T. Li,P. V. Madhusudhana Rao,Xuan Wang,Xuan Wang,S. S. Ghugre,M. P. Carpenter,S. Gros,A. A. Hecht,A. A. Hecht,R. V. F. Janssens,F. G. Kondev,T. Lauritsen,D. Seweryniak,S. Zhu +17 more
TL;DR: The chiral character of the bands is affirmed and it is shown that their behavior is associated with a transition from a vibrational into a static chiral regime.

Stabilization of nuclear isovector valence-shell excitations.
G. Rainovski,Norbert Pietralla,Tan Ahn,C. J. Lister,R. V. F. Janssens,M. P. Carpenter,S. Zhu,C. J. Barton +7 more
TL;DR: The E2 and M1 strength distributions between the lowest six 2+ states up to 2.7 MeV enables us to identify the 2(4)+ state in 138Ce as the dominant fragment of the one-phonon 2(1,ms)+ mixed-symmetry state.

Xe 136 + Pb 208 reaction: A test of models of multinucleon transfer reactions
J. S. Barrett,W. Loveland,R. Yanez,S. Zhu,A. D. Ayangeakaa,M. P. Carpenter,John P. Greene,R. V. F. Janssens,T. Lauritsen,E. A. McCutchan,Alejandro Sonzogni,C. J. Chiara,J. L. Harker,W. B. Walters +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the yields of over 200 projectile-like fragments (PLFs) and target-like fragment (TLFs) were measured using Gammasphere and off-line $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray spectroscopy, giving a comprehensive picture of the production cross sections in this reaction.
Modeling multi-nucleon transfer in symmetric collisions of massive nuclei
Timothy J. Welsh,W. Loveland,R. Yanez,J. S. Barrett,E. A. McCutchan,A. A. Sonzogni,Timothy Johnson,S. Zhu,John P. Greene,A. D. Ayangeakaa,M. P. Carpenter,T. Lauritsen,J. L. Harker,W. B. Walters,B. M. S. Amro,P. Copp +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the yields of several projectile-like and target-like fragments from the reaction of 1360 MeV 204Hg+198Pt were measured and it was shown that current models for this symmetric collision (GRAZING, DNS, ImQMD) significantly underestimate the yields, even for small transfers.
