The embodiment of the invention discloses an information interaction method, an information interaction device, and information interaction equipment for equipment of Internet of things (IoT). In themethod provided by the embodiment of the invention, identification information of the IoT equipment is acquired via a client, and the identification information of the IoT equipment and user information are uploaded to a server; the server performs equipment authentication and account binding, generates authentication information and issues the authentication information to the client; the clientbroadcasts a target network identifier (such as a service set identifier SSID of a wireless network), a password and the authentication information in a network by using a data packet as a carrier; the equipment receives the data packet through polling surrounding networks, and analyzes to acquire the target network identifier, the password and the authentication information; therefore, access from the target network is achieved, and a credible network connection is built with the server.

A system and method to compress, aggregate and archive Internet of Things data originating from sensors can use a point cloud based geometric data model and a distribution and aggregation method based on compressed point cloud representations. The compression can occur at a gateway or a point of presence near the access point, or alternatively in an IoT server located anywhere else in a network, such as in a core data center. In one embodiment a cloudlet in an access point performs the data modeling and compression at the access point. In some embodiments, a system or method stores and distributes data to relevant entities formatted in a point cloud based model that combines (x,y,z) geometry attributes with values attached in the attributes (a1, a2, a3) and uses point cloud compression. A receiver can then decode the point cloud and recompose the aggregated sensor data, enabling inspection of the data.

Presented herein are techniques in which one or more network devices can use information provided by a special purpose network connected device to retrieve a usage profile (i.e., configuration file) associated with the special purpose network connected device. The retrieved usage profile, which includes/describes preselected (predetermined) usage descriptions associated with the special purpose network connected device, can then be used to configure one or more network devices. For example, the predetermined usage descriptions associated with the special purpose network connected device can be instantiated and enforced at a network device or the predetermined usage descriptions can be used for auditing the special purpose network connected device (e.g., monitoring of traffic within the network).

The system may have secure tunnels that are formed between the IoT devices using a unique password for each IoT device. The additional step of selectively stopping communication between the IoT devices and the router, wherein when the communication of one IoT device to the router is compromised, the remaining tunnels with unique passwords are integral.

According to embodiments the disclosure, a router management server may be utilized to manage a plurality of home routers. Appropriate access control rules may be determined by the router management server for various client devices including IoT devices based on the type and/or make/model of the client devices. MAC address-bound WLAN passphrases may be assigned to the client devices and bound to the MAC addresses associated the client devices. Further, WLAN passphrases may be associated with expiration periods and/or access control rules. Therefore, a secure home network environment that takes into account the vulnerabilities of IoT devices may be achieved without the involvement of an IT department. Moreover, embodiments of the disclosure improve the flexibility of WLAN passphrase management.
