A superconducting injector linac for cosy
R. Tölle,Ulf Bechstedt,N. Bongers,J. Dietrich,Olaf Felden,Ralf Gebel,K. Henn,H. Jungwirth,Andreas Lehrach,R. Maier,N. Markgraf,U. Pfister,D. Prasuhn,P. von Rossen,A. Schnase,H. Schneider,Y. Senichev,Rolf Stassen,E. Zaplatin,A. Schempp,A. Facco,V. Zviagintsev +21 more
- 01 Jan 2002
TL;DR: In this paper, a superconducting linear accelerator is proposed for the Cooler Synchrotron COSY at the Research Center Julich, which will replace the existing cyclotron which presently serves as an injector.
Beam dynamics of the high-energy storage ring (hesr) for fair
Andreas Lehrach,K. Bongardt,Bernd Lorentz,R. Maier,D. Prasuhn,Hans Stockhorst,R. Tölle,D. Welsch +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, different beam dynamics issues like closed orbit correction, performance of cooled beams interacting with internal targets and luminosity considerations are discussed in the High-Energy Storage Ring (HESR) of the future International Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR).

The medium energy proton synchrotron cosy
Hans Stockhorst,Ulf Bechstedt,J. Dietrich,Ralf Gebel,K. Henn,Bernd Lorentz,R. Maier,D. Prasuhn,P. von Rossen,A. Schnase,H. Schneider,Rolf Stassen,R. Tölle +12 more
- 01 Jan 2000
TL;DR: In this article, the development of vertically polarized proton beams in the whole momentum range from 300 MeV/c up to 3300 MeV /c was discussed, and the beam was used for an internal experiment as well as after stochastic extraction at an external target station.

Some features of beam dynamics in super-conducting linac based on quarter- and half-wave cavities
Y. Senichev,B. D. Bräutigam,E. Zaplatin,Rolf Stassen,R. Maier,Andreas Lehrach,R. Tölle,A. Bogdanov +7 more
- 01 Jan 2002
TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered two options of linear accelerator based on the superconducting quarter-wave (QWC) and half-wave cavities (HWC), and analyzed the 6D beam dynamics in the real field calculated by MAFIA.

Overcoming Depolarizing Resonances at COSY
Andreas Lehrach,Ulf Bechstedt,J. Dietrich,Ralf Gebel,B. Lorentz,R. Maier,D. Prasuhn,A. Schnase,H. Schneider,Rolf Stassen,Hans Stockhorst,R. Tölle +11 more
- 04 Jun 2003
TL;DR: In this paper, a tunejump system consisting of two fast quadrupoles has been developed to handle intrinsic resonances in COSY, which allows to overcome all imperfection resonances by exciting adiabatic spin flips without polarization losses.
