The device comprises a power supply module used for supplying power, a CAN transceiver module, a circuit logic module and a processor module, wherein the processor module 4 is connected with a vehicle CAN bus through the CAN transceiver module and is then connected with an external analysis device through a USB module after acquiring the data of the vehicle CAN bus. The invention further provides a vehicle CAN bus analysis method. The method comprises steps that S10, a type of the vehicle CAN bus is identified; S20, a baud rate of the vehicle CAN bus is determined according to the type of the vehicle CAN bus; and S30, reverse function point analysis on the vehicle CAN bus is carried out according to the type and the baud rate of the vehicle CAN bus.
