TL;DR: In this article, the metabolic disorder of testicular dysfunction was investigated using triptolide-induced testicular injury in mice, and the authors found that triptoline induced spermine deficiency resulting from disruption of polyamine biosynthesis and uptake in testis, and perturbation of the gut microbiota.

TL;DR: The insights about the metabolic pathways of osthole in vivo, including hydroxylation, glucuronidation, and sulfation are given, as well as the levels of the lipids regulated by osthole indicated its potential effects on adipogenesis.
