Papers
p47phox deficiency induces macrophage dysfunction resulting in progressive crystalline macrophage pneumonia.
Qi Liu,Lily I. Cheng,Liang Yi,Nannan Zhu,Adam Wood,Cattlena May Changpriroa,Jerrold M. Ward,Sharon H. Jackson +7 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that p47(phox-/-) macrophages are extremely pliable, due in part to an intrinsic dysfunction of macrophage activation pathways that allows for distinct classical or alternative activation phenotypes.
Mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor reprograms macrophages to ameliorate acetaminophen-induced acute liver injury via p38 MAPK pathway
Xin Hou,Qi Liu,Yimin Gao,Liang Yong,Huiyuan Xie,Wenting Li,Yuping Zhou,Jun Liu,Lijie Feng,Longtao Xu,Yuxian Shen,Hua Wang +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the role of mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor (MANF) in the pathogenesis of acute liver failure was investigated in mice with and without drug-induced liver injury.
Role of p47phox in antigen-presenting cell-mediated regulation of humoral immunity in mice.
TL;DR: A novel benefit of NADPH oxidase 2 deficiency is demonstrated (ie, dependent inflammation in antigen-presenting cell-mediated humoral immunity) and that anti-Lm Ab can be protective in an immunodeficient CGD host.
Pyroptosis-triggered pathogenesis: New insights on antiphospholipid syndrome
Yuan Tan,Qi Liu,Zhongxin Li,Shuo Yang,Liyan Cui +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the potential of pyroptosis in regulating antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) development has been discussed, and prospective therapeutic approaches for APS have been proposed based on the regulation of pyproptosis.
Diagnostic Value of Circulating Antigens in the Serum of Piglets with Experimental Acute Toxoplasmosis.
TL;DR: Indirect ELISA results indicate that TgZFLP3 is likely to be a novel candidate for the diagnosis of acute toxoplasmosis, and dolichol-phosphate-mannose synthase family protein, C3HC zinc finger-like protein, and ribosomal protein RPL7 were selected to further investigate their value in the diagnosis, but these three proteins may not be useful as candidate vaccines against toxplasmosis owing to their low protective ability.
