Microbiota-mediated nitrogen fixation and microhabitat homeostasis in aerial root-mucilage
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the phenomenon of microbiota-mediated nitrogen fixation and elucidated how this process is steadily maintained in the root mucilage microhabitat, using pink lady (Heterotis rotundifolia) as a study plant.
Metabolomics and microbiome reveal potential root microbiota affecting the alkaloidal metabolome in Aconitum vilmorinianum Kom.
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors used ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry technology and high-throughput sequencing to examine the alkaloidal metabolome, bacterial microbiota, and fungal microbiota in A. vilmorinianum roots at two different sites in China.

[Screening and identification of an endophytic bacterium with 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate deaminase activity from Panax ginseng and its effect on host growth].
TL;DR: Strain JJ8-3 of endophytic bacterium with ACC deaminase activity from Panax ginseng was obtained and would lay the foundation for its further study and application on plant growth promotion.

Colonization characteristics of endophytic bacteria NJ13 in Panax ginseng and its biocontrol efficiency against Alternaria leaf spot of ginseng
TL;DR: The results showed that the marked strain NJ13-R which was double antibiotic resistant to rifampicin and streptomycin through enhancing the method of inducing antibiotic could colonize in root, stem and leaf of ginseng and the colonization amount was positive correlated with inoculation concentration.
