Controlled Design of Size-Tunable Monodisperse Nickel Nanoparticles
Sophie Carenco,Sophie Carenco,Cédric Boissière,Lionel Nicole,Clément Sanchez,Pascal Le Floch,Nicolas Mézailles +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the role of every reactant in the nucleation and growth of the nanoparticles has been delineated: OA is the reductant and thus controls nucleation rate, while TOP provides a tunable surface stabilization through coordination on the Ni(0) surface.

Nucleophilic scandium carbene complexes.
TL;DR: Using a geminal dianion as precursor, a nucleophilic scandium carbene complex (2) has been synthesized by salt metathesis on ScCl(3)(THF)(3) in 52% isolated yield and the X-ray structure as well as an NBO analysis points to a double interaction between the carbon and the sc andium atoms.

Easy access to uranium nucleophilic carbene complexes
Jean-Christophe Tourneux,Jean-Claude Berthet,Pierre Thuéry,Nicolas Mézailles,Pascal Le Floch,Michel Ephritikhine +5 more
TL;DR: The utility of these complexes as precursors is illustrated by the synthesis of the biscyclopentadienyl derivative [Cp(2)U{=C(Ph( 2)PS)(2)}(2)(py)(2)] by treatment of 3 with TlCp.

Chiral undecagold clusters: synthesis, characterization and investigation in catalysis.
Eugen S. Andreiadis,Maxime R. Vitale,Nicolas Mézailles,Xavier F. Le Goff,Pascal Le Floch,Patrick Y. Toullec,Véronique Michelet +6 more
TL;DR: Circular dichroism measurements showed that enantiomeric clusters display mirror-image chiroptical activity, and an asymmetric tandem hydroarylation-carbocyclization reaction, for which the enantiomersic excesses obtained with Au(11) clusters are similar to those reported using Au(I) complexes.

White phosphorus and metal nanoparticles: a versatile route to metal phosphide nanoparticles.
Sophie Carenco,Sophie Carenco,Matthieu Demange,Jing Shi,Cédric Boissière,Clément Sanchez,Pascal Le Floch,Nicolas Mézailles +7 more
TL;DR: P(4) reaction with metal NPs (In, Pb, Zn) provides an easy access to the corresponding metal phosphide NPs in a soft and stoichiometric reaction.
