The method comprises the following steps: the base station determines a sub-frame number of a flexible sub-frame in a wireless frame; the base station determines the attribute of a flexible sub-frame corresponding to the sub-frame number, wherein the attribute represents that the flexible sub-frame is an uplink sub-frame or a downlink sub-frame; and the base station sends a first signaling to the user equipment through a downlink control channel, wherein the first signaling comprises the attribute of the flexible sub-frame corresponding to the sub-frame number. By adopting the method, the base station and the user equipment provided by the embodiment of the invention, the purpose that the base station signaling informs the user equipment that a certain flexible sub-frame is an uplink sub-frame or a downlink sub-frame can be achieved, and the user equipment can normally communicate with the base station under the condition of knowing the attribute of the flexible sub-frame.
