On the accuracy of a Stewart platform. II. Kinematic calibration and compensation
Oren Masory,J. Wang,Hanqi Zhuang +2 more
- 02 May 1993
TL;DR: An effective algorithm for the identification of the kinematic parameters of a Stewart platform is presented and verified through simulations, which showed that the platform pose error was reduced by at least one order of magnitude.

Kinematic calibration of a Stewart platform using pose measurements obtained by a single theodolite
Hanqi Zhuang,Oren Masory,Jiahua Yan +2 more
- 05 Aug 1995
TL;DR: Experimental studies reveal that the proposed calibration method is effective in enhancing the accuracy performance of Stewart platforms through kinematic calibration.

Kinematic modeling and calibration of a Stewart platform
Oren Masory,Jian Wang,Hanqi Zhuang +2 more
- 01 Jan 1997
TL;DR: A new kinematic model is proposed to represent the errors due to imperfection of the U-joints and the ball-jointeds, which are key components of the Stewart platform, by which the accuracy of theStewart platform can be greatly improved.

Functions of a caring robot in nursing
Shihong Huang,Tetsuya Tanioka,Rozzano C. Locsin,Marilyn E. Parker,Oren Masory +4 more
- 01 Nov 2011
TL;DR: Nursing caring theory is applied as a framework for the patient human-robot interaction and a set of necessary functions that a caring robot should have is proposed so that questions can be answered.

Measurement of pose repeatabilty of stewart platform
Oren Masory,Yan Jiahua +1 more
TL;DR: Two measurement procedures by which the position of a target point in three-dimensional space can be determined using a single theodolite that is used to collect two sets of measurements taken from two arbitrary locations are described.
