Chlorin-Oligonucleotide Conjugates - Synthesis, Properties, and Red Light-Induced Photochemical Sequence-Specific DNA Cleavage in Duplexes and Triplexes
TL;DR: The photosensitizing properties of the conjugate of CHEVP with the 14-mer oligodeoxynucleotide TTCTTCTCCTTTCT were investigated using three different targets.

Photoreduction of iron(iii)porphyrins
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that Ferrideuteroporphyrin in benzene, water or micelle solutions containing primary or secondary alcohols as well as in pure or basic 2-propanol solutions is clearly reduced to the ferrous state by continuous light irradiation.

Cellular uptake of hydroxyethylvinyldeuteroporphyrin(hvd) and photoinactivation of cultivated human leukemia (reh6) cells
TL;DR: The in vitro incorporation of purified HVD into cells (Reh6) derived from an acute lymphocytic human leukemia is investigated using quantitative extraction techniques and fluorescence spectroscopy, finding the porphyrin is mainly located in membrane structures and to a lower extent in cytoplasm.

The purification of haematoporphyrin IX and its acetylated derivatives
TL;DR: The main impurities of the commercial product are 8(3)-(1-hydro-xyethyl)-3(8)-vinyldeuteroporphyrin (HVD, 2 isomers, Fig. 1c) and unidentified brown impurities as discussed by the authors.

Reaction of singlet oxygen with vinyl-substituted porphyrins. A kinetic study by laser flash photolysis
TL;DR: In this paper, the reactivity of several vinyl porphyrins towards singlet oxygen (1O2) in various solvents has been investigated using time-resolved detection of infrared luminescence at 1270 nm.
