For this reason, sheets can be stacked to the full capacity of the stacking box.

When the amount of stacked paper sheets 105 is increased to reach the lower end of the movable guide plate 103, as the following paper sheets 105 are thrown in, the upper end of the movable guide plate 103 is slid along the elongated hole 106 so that an angle theta between the movable guide plate 103 and a support plate 104 is increased to lose the support function of the support plate 104, and the support plate 104 is pushed up with the movable guide plate 103 as the amount of stacked paper sheets 105 is increased. Thus, the paper sheets can be stacked to the full in the stacking box 101.

CONSTITUTION:Grooves 6 having a width larger than a width of push rollers l are formed in an idlers 3 where the idlers 3 and push rollers 1 come into contact with each other through a paper sheet 5 and carrier belts. After a rear end part of the paper sheet 5 passes through the push rollers 1 and a central shaft of the idlers 3 having the grooves 6 corresponding to these, when the push rollers 1 press the elastic carrier belts 2 and enter a part of the grooves 6 of the idlers 3, the push rollers 1 and the idlers 3 do not come into contact with each other through the carrier belts 2, so that a noise is reduced.
