TL;DR: Radioimmunoassays selective for methionine‐enkephalin (Met‐ENK) and leucineenkephalins (Leu‐ ENK) have been developed using competition towards binding of 10 pM 125I‐en kephalins to antibodies raised in rabbits against ENKs coupled to ovalbumin with carbodiimide.

Presence of Somatostatin, Enkephalins, and Substance P‐Like Peptides in Cultured Neurons from Embryonic Chick Cerebral Hemispheres
TL;DR: The findings suggest that cultured neurons that express dopaminergic and GABAergic properties contain peptides similar, if not identical, to somatostatin, Met‐enkephalin, Leu‐enkelhalin, and substance P.
