Effect of anticoccidial monensin with oregano essential oil on broilers experimentally challenged with mixed Eimeria spp
Mehmet Bozkurt,G Ege,Nuran Aysul,Hasan Akşit,A E Tüzün,Kamil Küçükyılmaz,A. E. Borum,Murat Uygun,Dilek Aksit,Süleyman Aypak,Emrah Simsek,Kamil Seyrek,B Koçer,Erol Bintaş,A. Orojpour +14 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that OEO supported the intestinal absorptive capacity and antioxidant defense system during Eimeria infection; however, it displayed little direct activity on the reproductive capacity of Eimia, indicating inferior compensatory growth potential of OEO compared to that MON following the challenge.
