The collaboration between e-learning activities and those offering formative assessment and summative assessment has gained great attention in the educational community. These types of activities can be incorporated into online assessment tools. There is no doubt that all the big and small educational institutes use some kind of protocols and disciplines to assess the performance of regular and e-learning students conventionally or traditionally. This paper proposes and introduces an efficient, automatic and intelligent approach to calculate or assess the performance of e-learning students using an Expert System (ES) based on the Fuzzy Logic System (FLS) Artificial Intelligence Algorithm. The ES takes five parameters for formative assessment (FA) such as skype session attendance, internal course marks, and programming lab activity, and summative assessment (SA) includes mid-term and final-term marks. The result shows that the Expert System for Assessing Programming Course Performance (ESACP) evaluates the performance efficiently. The proposed model also has an impact on the educational institution's assessment system and focus on how to improve education standard with the help of assessing the students’ performance using formative and summative analysis.

Fuzzy Logic-based Expert System for Assessing Programming Course Performance of E-Learning Students

Accessibility is an increasingly important topic for Ecommerce, especially for individuals with vision problems. To improve their online experience, the design of a voice assistant has been proposed to allow these individuals to browse and shop online more quickly and efficiently. This voice assistant forms an intelligent system that can understand and respond to users’ voice commands. The design considers the visual limitations of the users, such as difficulty reading information on the screen or identifying images. The voice assistant provides detailed product descriptions and ideas in a clear, easy-to-understand voice. In addition, the voice assistant has a series of additional features to improve the shopping experience. For example, the assistant can provide product recommendations based on the user’s previous purchases and information about special promotions and discounts. The main goal of this design is to create an accessible and inclusive online shopping experience for the visually impaired. The voice assistant is based on a conversational user interface, allowing users to easily navigate an eCommerce website, search for products, and make purchases.

Design Proposal for a Virtual Shopping Assistant for People with Vision Problems Applying Artificial Intelligence Techniques

Smartphones have access to a tremendous quantity of data relevant to models, henceforth enhancing the consumer experience. General ML algorithms require centralization of data and models but pose difficulty in GDPR compliance, lack of trust from users' end, and limited transparency. FL is a collective and decentralized approach to Machine Learning that enhances privacy and security of data, complies with GDPR. It also advocates low power consumption and latency. This paper delivers the application of Federated Learning in sentiment analysis, in comparison to the Deep Learning algorithms - RNN, CNN used. The sentiments of the text are segmented in accordance with the spectrum of emotions they articulate - positive, negative, and neutral using Deep Learning algorithms. We have also added a web component (a dynamic web-app) to the sentiment analysis model to automate the prediction process.

The recall rate and precision rate of current mobile education resource sharing methods are low, and the resource sharing time is long, so a mobile education resource sharing method based on wireless broadband connection is proposed. Ant colony algorithm was used to optimize the focused crawler, the optimized crawler was used to capture the data of mobile education resources and extract the semantic features of the captured data, and the K-means clustering algorithm was used to cluster all the data. Based on the calculation results of network centrality and network density, a wireless broadband connection is used to schedule mobile education resources to complete the sharing of mobile education resources. The experimental results show that the proposed method’s recall rate and precision rate are above 95% and 96%, and the average resource sharing time is 0.63 s. The comprehensive performance of the proposed method is better.

138 DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.37398/JSR.2020.640134 Abstract: Technological Implementations in the field of Academics has helped Students as well as Professionals in very important ways. The availability of all educational resources helps the students a lot in their educational life. The paper illustrates a website model with the help of which Students can be able to access class notes, previous year question papers, syllabus, and can sell their old books from the same digital platform as well. The paper also describes the role of software engineering in project development. The project is developed on Django Framework; the backend development is in Python, Jinja2 and SQLite. The frontend consists of HTML, CSS and Java. Appropriate SDLC Model and Testing techniques have been used in the development process. Each step of the SDLC Model (Iterative Model) is described thoroughly and respective ER Diagrams and Flow Charts have been shown. The project developed is highly efficient, userfriendly and simple.
