A systematic review and meta-analysis of clinical effectiveness and safety of hydrogel dressings in the management of skin wounds
Lijun Zhang,Hanxiao Yin,Xun Lei,Johnson Yn Lau,Mingzhou Yuan,Xiaoyan Wang,Fangyingnan Zhang,Fei Zhou,Shaohai Qi,Bin Shu,Jun Wu +10 more
TL;DR: A comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis of the available evidence reveals that the application of hydrogel dressings advances the healing of various wound types and effectively alleviates the pain with no severe adverse reactions.
In vitro and in vivo biocompatibility and inflammation response of methacrylated and maleated hyaluronic acid for wound healing
Lijun Zhang,Lijun Zhang,Ugo D'Amora,Alfredo Ronca,Yuanyuan Li,Yuanyuan Li,Xiaoying Mo,Fei Zhou,Mingzhou Yuan,Luigi Ambrosio,Jun Wu,Jun Wu,Maria Grazia Raucci +12 more
TL;DR: An inflammation study was carried out on a murine macrophage cell line to assess the effects of both hydrogels on inflammatory and anti-inflammatory interleukin production, and both MAHA and MEHA supported cell proliferation with anti-inflammation ability.
Selective debridement of burn wounds using hydrosurgery system.
Mingzhou Yuan,Meifang Yin,Lijun Zhang,Jinghao Feng,Junyou Zhu,Ziheng Zhou,Bin Shu,Fei Zhou,Fangyingnan Zhang,Hanxiao Yin,Xiaoyan Wang,Shaohai Qi,Jun Wu +12 more
TL;DR: The result indicated that the burn wounds were significantly more sensitive than the normal skin when the water pressure produced by the hydrosurgery system was set between 3000 and 5000 psi (pounds per square inch), that is, the necrotic tissue portions were debrided more easily than thenormal skin tissue.

Identification of microbes in wounds using near-infrared spectroscopy.
Meifang Yin,Jiangfeng Li,Lixian Huang,Yongming Li,Mingzhou Yuan,Yongquan Luo,Ubaldo Armato,Ubaldo Armato,Lijun Zhang,Yating Wei,Yuanyuan Li,Jiawen Deng,Pin Wang,J. Wu +13 more
TL;DR: The findings validate for the first time a novel technique aimed at the rapid, noncontacted, highly sensitive, and specific recognition of several microbial species including drug-resistant ones.

In situ scarless skin healing of a severe human burn wound induced by a hCTLA4Ig gene-transferred porcine skin graft
Lijun Zhang,Guangchao Xu,Yating Wei,Mingzhou Yuan,Yuanyuan Li,Meifang Yin,Chu-Fen Chen,Guang Tao Huang,Bin Shu,Jun Wu +9 more
TL;DR: The first case of the “perfect regenerative healing” of a severe burn wound with no hypertrophic scar formation is reported in which a postage stamp skin autograft was covered with human cytotoxic-T-lymphocyte associated antigen4-immunoglobulin (hCTLA4Ig) gene-transferred pig skin.
