Hidden-Markov-Models-Based Dynamic Hand Gesture Recognition
TL;DR: The proposed method can achieve automatic hand gesture online recognition and can successfully reject atypical gestures and reach better recognition results than the traditional hand recognition method.
SSA-Net: Spatial self-attention network for COVID-19 pneumonia infection segmentation with semi-supervised few-shot learning
Xiaoyan Wang,Yiwen Yuan,Dongyan Guo,Xiaojie Huang,Ying Cui,Ming Xia,Zhenhua Wang,Cong Bai,Shengyong Chen +8 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a novel COVID-19 pneumonia lesion segmentation network, called Spatial Self-Attention network (SSA-Net), to identify infected regions from chest CT images automatically.

PaI‐Net: A modified U‐Net of reducing semantic gap for surgical instrument segmentation
TL;DR: A novel method named parallel inception network (PaI-Net) is proposed, in which an attention parallel module (APM) and an output fusion module (OFM) are integrated with U-Net to improve the segmentation ability.

Cascaded residual U-net for fully automatic segmentation of 3D carotid artery in high-resolution multi-contrast MR images.
Zhu Chenglu,Xiaoyan Wang,Zhongzhao Teng,Shengyong Chen,Huang Xiaojie,Ming Xia,Lizhao Mao,Cong Bai +7 more
TL;DR: A novel fully automatic 3D framework for simultaneously segmenting the carotid artery from high-resolution multi-contrast MR sequences based on deep learning is introduced and outperforms the state-of-the-art 3D Unet-based segmentation models.

Energy efficiency analysis of multi-hop mobile diffusive molecular communication
TL;DR: The numerical results show that the parameters including the diffusion coefficients and velocities of mobile TN, relays and RN, the initial distance of each hop, the number of molecules emitted in each time slot by TN and relays, and each time time slot duration have different impacts on the energy efficiency.
