A review: a new authentication protocol for real-time healthcare monitoring system.
TL;DR: A new scheme has been proposed, the new lightweight authentication protocol for smart real-time healthcare, and it is important to satisfy the major parameters of security: confidentiality, integrity, authentication, and access control.

Chaotic Encryption Scheme Using 1-D Chaotic Map
Mina Mishra,Vijay H. Mankar +1 more
TL;DR: Logistic and NLFSR methods are found to resist known plaintext attack for available first two characters of plaintext and method is found toresist brute-force attack as it derives the conclusion for identifiability.
A Chaotic Encryption Algorithm: Robustness against Brute-Force Attack
Mina Mishra,Vijay H. Mankar +1 more
- 01 Jan 2012
TL;DR: An encryption method is proposed that uses self-invertible matrix, modular function, Non-Linear shift register and the chaotic map known as Logistic to protect data against Brute-force attack.

Chaotic Cipher Using Arnolds and Duffings Map
Mina Mishra,Vijay H. Mankar +1 more
- 01 Jan 2012
TL;DR: 2-D chaotic maps provide more key space than 1-D maps thus they are considered to be more suitable for chaotic ciphers developed, and concept of identifiability proved to be a necessary condition to be fulfilled by the designed chaotic cipher to resist brute force attack.

Message Embedded cipher using 2-D chaotic map
Mina Mishra,Vijay H. Mankar +1 more
TL;DR: This paper constructs two encryption methods using 2-D chaotic maps, Duffings and Arnold's cat maps respectively, which are found to have good key sensitivity and possess identifiable keys thus concluding that they can resist linear attacks and brute-force attacks.
