Compact fiber-coupled high-power diode laser unit
Markus Baumann,Bodo Ehlers,Michael Quade,Keming Du,Hans-Georg Treusch,Peter Loosen,Reinhart Poprawe +6 more
- 18 Aug 1997
TL;DR: In this article, a compact fiber-coupled high-power diode-laser unit with optical output power up to 40 W cw, coupled into a multimode fiber with 600 micrometers core diameter and NA 0.22.

Efficient TEM 00 operation of Nd:YVO 4 laser end pumped by fiber-coupled diode laser
Jian Zhang,Michael Quade,Keming Du,Yan Liao,Stephan Falter,Markus Baumann,Peter Loosen,Reinhart Poprawe +7 more
- 18 Aug 1997
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have demonstrated efficient TEMoo operation of the Nd:YVO4 rod laser, one-end-pumped by a fiber-coupled diode laser.

Neodymium:YAG 30-W cw Laser Side Pumped by Three Diode Laser Bars.
Keming Du,Jian Zhang,Michael Quade,Yan Liao,Stephan Falter,Markus Baumann,Peter Loosen,Reinhart Dr Rer Nat Poprawe +7 more
TL;DR: A theoretical calculation of pump power deposition in a direct water-cooled Nd:YAG laser rod, side pumped by three diode laser bars is presented, and more than 30-W cw output power with optical-to-optical efficiencies of more than30% is obtained.

Polarization characteristics of a Nd:YAG laser side pumped by diode laser bars
TL;DR: An analytical expression for the output coupling rate of a cavity containing a TFP and a QWP has been derived and the experimental results are in good agreement with the simplified theoretical analysis.

Parallel diode-pumped frequency doubled Nd:YAG laser
Michael Quade,Keming Du,Stephan Falter,Jian Zhang,Hans-Georg Treusch,Peter Loosen,Reinhart Poprawe +6 more
- 18 Aug 1997
TL;DR: In this article, the frequency doubler is used for scaling the output power of frequency doubled Nd:YAG (F2YAG) laser sources, where the second harmonic generated in different oscillators is coaxially superpositioned.
