When a laser light source module is configured to include a heat sink in which a solid laser element, an excitation light source, and a wavelength conversion element are arranged and a stem that supports the heat sink, the heat sink is separated into three blocks, which are a first block on the top surface of which a laser oscillating unit for the solid laser element is arranged, a second block on the top surface of which a semiconductor laser element that emits excitation light for the laser oscillating unit and a first temperature sensor are arranged and on a specific surface of which the first heater is arranged, and a third block on the top surface of which the wavelength conversion element that converts the wavelength of the fundamental laser beam oscillated by the laser oscillating unit and a second temperature sensor are arranged and on a specific surface of which a second heater is arranged. Only the second block is fixed at its side surface or bottom surface to the stem, the first block is fixed to the other side surface of the second block, and the third block is fixed to the side surface of the first block. The module can thereby be downsized, and the positioning accuracy of the elements can be improved.

The stem 112 has: a reverse surface 121 fitted to a heat dissipation member 102; a mounting surface 117 corresponding to a part of the reverse surface 121; and a fitting surface 118 extending obliquely to the reverse surface 121 and mounting surface 117. The mounting surface 117 has the semiconductor laser chip 111 mounted therein through a substrate 114, and is substantially parallel with the reverse surface 121. The p-side electrode 16 is formed by printing metal nanoparticle ink containing metal nanoparticles such as ITO or Au which are transparent electrode materials in line form by an ink jet. The n-side electrode 15 may also be formed by printing metal nanoparticle ink such as Au nanoparticle ink in line form by an ink jet. Slope sections 23 and 24 are formed with a dispenser or the like by using insulating resin between the electrodes 15 and 16 on both sides of the LED device 11 and lands 21 and 22 of a wiring board 20. Then wiring patterns 25 and 26 connecting between the electrodes 15 and 16 on both sides of the LED device 11 and the lands 21 and 22 of the wiring board 20 are formed by printing metal nanoparticle ink such as Ag nanoparticle ink to the surfaces of the slope sections 23 and 24 by an ink jet.

SOLUTION: A position patch PP which is being conveyed by an intermediate transfer belt 3 is detected at the detection position P, and reaching time required from starting to form a latent image that is the origin of the position patch PP until reaching the detecting position P is measured, a difference between the actual reaching time and the scheduled reaching time set in advance is calculated to generate correction time, which is used to correct the linkage timing of the apparatus, so as to make timing that the density patch DP passes through the detecting position P coincident with timing that the toner amount detection means 7 detects the toner amount. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variations of an optical output occurring owing to a temperature change by power supply to a semiconductor laser under drive conditions of a small bias current with a simplified circuit construction, since once the semiconductor laser is supplied with electric power, junction temperature rises to permit a threshold current to be reduced, and hence the optical output is varied in the unit of several micro seconds to cause uneven printing. SOLUTION: A circuit or an element having negative resistance characteristics is provided in series to the semiconductor laser, and is driven with constant voltage. Consequently, the a reduction of an optical output of the semiconductor laser due to temperature rise is completely assured by the increase of a drive current due to a reduction of building-up voltage of current-voltage characteristics.
