Rigorous coupled-wave analysis of metallic surface-relief gratings
M. G. Moharam,Thomas K. Gaylord +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a rigorous coupled-wave analysis for metallic surface-relief gratings is presented for all diffracted orders as a function of period, groove depth, polarization, and angle of incidence.

Zero-reflectivity high spatial-frequency rectangular-groove dielectric surface-relief gratings.
TL;DR: Using rigorous coupled-wave analysis, high spatial-frequency rectangular-groove surface-relief phase gratings are shown to be capable of exhibiting zero reflectivity, and these corrugated surfaces may act as antireflection coatings in a variety of applications.

Zero-reflectivity homogeneous layers and high spatial-frequency surface-relief gratings on lossy materials
TL;DR: The required thickness and complex refractive index of single homogeneous layers on lossy substrates to produce zero reflectivity are calculated by a rigorous impedance matching approach and multiple zeroreflectivity solutions exist for both TE and TM polarizations.
