TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed a randomized controlled trial to quantify the frequency, nature, and consequences of extracolonic findings in colorectal cancer patients and found that more than half of the patients with symptoms of colon cancer are found to have extraclonic pathologies by CTC analysis.
