Comparison of model‐specific histopathology in mouse models of COVID‐19
Si-Yu Yang,Liu Cao,Wenting Xu,T. Xu,Birong Zheng,Yanxi Ji,Siyao Huang,Lihong Liu,Jie Du,Hong Peng,Huan Zhang,Jing-diao Chen,Bixia Ke,Huanying Zheng,Xiaoling Deng,Chunmei Li,Deyin Guo +16 more
TL;DR: Systematic comparisons of the mouse models that express the human angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (hACE2) revealed differences in the distribution of lesions and the characteristics of pneumonia induced, which may help in better understanding the pathogenic process of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection and aiding in the development of effective medications and prophylactic treatments.
