- 11 Nov 2015
TL;DR: In this paper, a code virtualization software protection system realizing instruction set randomization, and belongs to the field of computer software security, is described, where a virtual instruction set is built in the system, key code in a program to be protected is disassembled to obtain a local instruction sequence; then, the local instruction sequences are converted into a first virtual instruction according to the virtual instruction sets of architecture.

Exploiting Code Diversity to Enhance Code Virtualization Protection
Chao Xue,Zhanyong Tang,Guixin Ye,Li Guanghui,Xiaoqing Gong,Wei Wangg,Dingyi Fang,Zheng Wang +7 more
- 11 Dec 2018
TL;DR: Experimental results show that the approach is effective, which provides stronger protection with comparable runtime overhead and code size, and is evaluated on a set of real-world applications and compared against two state-of-the-art VM-based code obfuscation approaches.

Binary code anti-obfuscation method based on semanteme
Wang Lei,Guo Jun,Tang Zhanyong,Fang Dingyi,Chen Xiaojiang,Li Guanghui,Hao Zhaohui,Wang Hua,Zhang Heng,Guixin Ye,Zhou Xiang,Chen Feng +11 more
- 12 Aug 2015
TL;DR: In this paper, a binary code anti-obfuscation method based on semanteme is presented, which consists of extracting execution process information of a target program, conducting a taint analysis on the execution process, and carrying out instruction tailoring on the target program according to the control flow graph.

Wang Lei,Tang Zhanyong,Zhang Jie,Wang Hua,Li Guanghui,Dingyi Fang,Chen Xiaojiang,Guixin Ye,Zhang Heng,Lyu Liudong,Chen Feng +10 more
- 23 Sep 2015
TL;DR: In this article, a multi-execution path construction method for malicious software is presented, which comprises two parts of obtaining an initial control flow diagram and constructing a complete flow diagram according to the initial flow diagram.
