TL;DR: It is shown that LILRB4, an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibition motif-containing receptor and a marker of monocytic leukaemia, supports tumour cell infiltration into tissues and suppresses T cell activity via a signalling pathway that involves APOE, LIL RB4, SHP-2, uPAR and ARG1 in acute myeloid leukaemis (AML) cells.

A tetravalent TREM2 agonistic antibody reduced amyloid pathology in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease
Peng Zhao,Yuanzhong Xu,Lu-Lin Jiang,Xuejun Fan,Leike Li,Xin Li,Hisashi Arase,Yingjun Zhao,Wei Cao,Hui Zheng,Huaxi Xu,Qingchun Tong,Ningning Zhang,Zhiqiang An +13 more
TL;DR: The feasibility of engineering multivalent TREM2 agonistic Ab coupled with TfR-mediated brain delivery to enhance microglia functions and reduce amyloid pathology in vitro and in vivo is demonstrated.

Potent neutralizing antibodies elicited by dengue vaccine in rhesus macaque target diverse epitopes.
Leike Li,Weixu Meng,Melanie Horton,Daniel R. DiStefano,Elizabeth Thoryk,Jennifer M. Pfaff,Qihui Wang,Qihui Wang,Georgina To'a Salazar,Trevor Barnes,Benjamin J. Doranz,Andrew J. Bett,Danilo R. Casimiro,Kalpit A. Vora,Zhiqiang An,Ningyan Zhang +15 more
TL;DR: Results show that the vaccination induces mAbs with diverse germline sequences and a wide range of binding affinities, and one of the neutralizing mAbs has a previously unknown epitope in DII at the interface of the envelope and membrane protein and is capable of neutralizing all four dengue serotypes.
Efficient generation of monoclonal antibodies from single rhesus macaque antibody secreting cells
Weixu Meng,Leike Li,Wei Xiong,Xuejun Fan,Hui Deng,Andrew J. Bett,Zhifeng Chen,Aimin Tang,Kara S. Cox,Joseph G. Joyce,Daniel C. Freed,Elizabeth Thoryk,Tong-Ming Fu,Danilo R. Casimiro,Ningyan Zhang,Kalpit A. Vora,Zhiqiang An +16 more
TL;DR: The results validate the protocol for cloning monoclonal antibodies in response to vaccination from single macaque antibody secreting cells, which have general applicability for determining monOClonal antibody profiles inresponse to other immunogens or vaccine studies of interest in NHPs.

Chitinase 3-like-1 contributes to acetaminophen-induced liver injury by promoting hepatic platelet recruitment
Zhao Shan,Zhao Shan,Leike Li,Constance L. Atkins,Meng Wang,Yankai Wen,Jongmin Jeong,Nicolas F. Moreno,Dechun Feng,Xun Gui,Ningyan Zhang,Chun Geun Lee,Jack A. Elias,William M. Lee,Bin Gao,Fong Wilson Lam,Fong Wilson Lam,Zhiqiang An,Cynthia Ju +18 more
TL;DR: Shan et al. as discussed by the authors showed that targeting Chi3l1 may be an effective strategy to prevent liver damage caused by acetaminophen overdose, and they also found that mice lacking the gene that codes for Chi3 l1 developed less severe liver injury and had fewer platelets in the liver following an acetamine oxidase inhibitor.
