α-Emission temperatures, coulomb instabilities and nuclear cracking
D. Fabris,K. Hagel,J. B. Natowitz,G. Nebbia,R. Wada,R. Billerey,Brigitte Cheynis,A. Demeyer,D. Drain,D. Guinet,C. Pastor,L. Vagneron,K. Zaid,J. Alarja,A. Giorni,D. Heuer,C. Morand,B. Viano,C. Mazur,C. Ngô,S. Leray,R. Lucas,M. Ribrag,E. Tomasi +23 more
TL;DR: The α-emission temperatures of medium mass nuclei with masses near 140, determined at excitation energies from 2 to 4.3 MeV/nucleon, suggest a rapid increase in the heat capacity of the composite system consistent with model predictions of the onset of a cracking phase transition or fragmentation.

Explosive multifragmentation in the 32S+27Al reaction at 37.5 MeV/nucleon.
D. Heuer,A. Chabane,María-Ester Brandan,M. Charvet,A.J. Cole,P. Désesquelles,A. Giorni,Annick Lleres,A. Menchaca-Rocha,J.B. Viano,D. Benchekroun,Brigitte Cheynis,A. Demeyer,E. Gerlic,D. Guinet,M. Stern,L. Vagneron +16 more
TL;DR: Dynamical properties provide strong evidence for a radial directed collective component (blast wave) in the fragment energies which dominates the interfragment Coulomb repulsion and the thermal motion.

Limiting temperatures of medium mass nuclei
D. Fabris,K. Hagel,J. B. Natowitz,G. Nebbia,R. Wada,R. Billerey,Brigitte Cheynis,A. Demeyer,D. Drain,D. Guinet,C. Pastor,L. Vagneron,T. Zaid,J. Alarja,A. Giorni,D. Heuer,C. Morand,B. Viano,C. Mazur,C. Ngô,S. Leray,R. Lucas,M. Ribrag,E. Tomasi +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a limiting temperature of ∼6 MeV was found for αa emission from medium mass nuclei having excitation energies of 2 to 4.5 MeV/nucleon.

Gros,J.P. Hadjout,S. Hervé,A. Juillard,A. de Lesquen,M. Loidl,J. Mallet,S. Marnieros,O. Martineau,N. Mirabolfathi,L. Mosca,X. F. Navick,G. Nollez,P. Pari,C. Riccio,V. Sanglard,M. Stern,L. Vagneron +34 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived a limit on the cross-section for spin-independent interaction between WIMPs and nucleons as a function of WIMP mass, using standard nuclear physics and astrophysical assumptions.
