- 16 Oct 2015
TL;DR: The result shows that the WRF/CALPUFF model can reproduce satisfactorily meteorology fields and SO2 changing trend and the effects of terrain characteristic and wind speed and direction on SO2 are better reproduced by the model than the effect of temperature.

Analysis of heavy pollution weather in Shenyang City and numerical simulation of main pollutants
Yunfeng Ma,Huijie Zhao,Lei Feng,Siyu Jin,Di Zhao,Shuai Wang,Qiyao Liu,Kunyu Gao,Zhe Xu +8 more
TL;DR: Analysis of heavy pollution weather in Shenyang City and numerical simulation of main pollutants mainly occurred during the heating season, with PM2.5 and PM10 being the main pollutants. The WRF-Chem model was used to simulate the meteorological elements and particle concentration, and the results demonstrated a better simulation effect on temperature and pressure than on wind speed and wind direction.
Geo-Informatics in Resource Management and Sustainable Ecosystem
Xiaofei Shi,Yunfeng Ma,Qi Wang,Kunyu Gao,Xu Liu +4 more
- 01 Jan 2015
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate governance issues with as-built records in worldwide cities, in order to provide insight to current manage mechanism, and find that proper governance and management should be carried out to improve the data quality of as built records in the long run.
Wind simulation using different parameters in a weather research and forecasting model
Yunfeng Ma,Huijie Zhao,Lei Feng,Qiongqiong Hu,Di Zhao,Shuai Wang,Qiyao Liu,Kunyu Gao,Zhe Xu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , Wang et al. designed different parameter schemes for a weather research and forecasting model to simulate hourly winter and summer wind speed and direction at a wind-farm tower in China.
