The present disclosure proposes a method of cooperative MIMO wireless communication, and a base station using the same. A base station would have a plurality of radio remote units (RRUs), and each of the RRUs may have a specific radio coverage and a plurality of antennas coupled to each of the RRUs. The function of the base station may include receiving a UE information, receiving a service flow, deriving a service type of the service flow, and determining a MIMO scheme, modulating the service flow into a MIMO stream according to the MIMO scheme, allocating a plurality of resource blocks, wherein the resource blocks may correspond to a portion or all of the RRUs, distributing the MIMO stream into a plurality of downlink sub streams and transmitting the downlink sub streams through the resource blocks by the RRUs corresponding to the resource blocks.

The adjacent cell configuration method is suitable for the multi-stage network topological structure, and a cell reselection or switching demand in a multi-stage network can be met.

CONSTITUTION: An optical repeater(430) relays a signal between a terminal and a base station by using an optical line. An mRRU(micro Remote RF Unit)(420) separates a reception path of the optical repeater. The mRRU constitutes an extension sector and a sector of the base station by dividing the coverage of the optical repeater into the extension sector and the sector of the base station. The mRRU includes an optical junction unit, a transceiver, and a clock module. The transceiver transmits signals to the optical repeater and receives the signals from the optical repeater. The clock module matches clocks between the optical junction unit and the transceiver.

PURPOSE: An uplink transmission rate control system and a method thereof are provided to transform a physical format and a maximum transmission rate based on the uplink data of a user terminal, thereby improving the uplink quality and capacity by providing a user necessary uplink power resources. CONSTITUTION: A base station controller(500) measures traffic by data count of a user terminal(300). The base station controller changes a transmission rate of the user terminal by a measured traffic. The base station controller transmits a transmission rate change message to the user terminal. The user terminal establishes an EDCH (Enhanced Uplink Dedicated CHannel) with the base station controller. The user terminal changes a predefined uplink transmission rate into a transmission rate of the transmission rate change message.

PURPOSE: A system for data transmission in an RLC layer and a method thereof are provided to add a retransmission buffer to an RLC layer and to store downlink RLC SDU. CONSTITUTION: A transmission buffer(410) stores an RLC SDU(Radio Link Control Service Data Unit) from an upper layer. A frame unit(420) divides the stored RLC SDU into RLC PDU(Radio Link Control Protocol Data Unit). A retransmission buffer(430) stores corresponding RLC SDU. A control unit(440) restores the stored RLC SDU of the retransmission buffer. The control unit transmits an RLC PDU generation command to the frame unit.
