Patent
Repetitive pattern erasing method, defect inspection method and device
Ayaki Yukihiro,Yugawa Noriaki,Kawano Hajime,Yoshii Koji +3 more
- 13 Sep 2002
TL;DR: In this article, a pattern erasure problem is resolved by comparing a particular concentration difference between a target picture element and a comparison picture element group A arranged on the same column as the target image element and between the target picture elements and the comparison picture elements B arranged in a direction perpendicular to the comparison image element group B.

- 25 May 2001
TL;DR: In this article, a pixel data processing is performed by repeating successive pixel data processings for one piece of the pixel data as shifting the pixels data D1a and a noticing pixel D3 for a group D8 of held pieces of pixel data after a value obtained by holding the respective pixel data D 1a as the group D 8 of pixels data for a processed area.

Device and method for labeling
Kawano Hajime,Sudo Susumu,Wakitani Koichi,Ishii Shoichi,Yugawa Noriaki +4 more
- 28 Feb 2003
TL;DR: In this paper, a line buffer is provided with a label storage memory for storing the information of the labeled link area, and a series of labeling processings are performed synchronously with an output signal provided from an image pickup device.

Method and device for processing image
Kawano Hajime,Sudo Susumu,Ishii Shoichi,Yugawa Noriaki +3 more
- 28 Apr 2000
TL;DR: In this article, a CCD line sensor is scanned in a direction B, thus picking up the image of a region 1A ranging from a starting point S to an ending point E. The image data include the position of a pixel and the data of brightness and the pixel row in the direction B can be obtained equivalent to five columns in B by five times of scanning, thus inspecting the entire surface of the body 1 to be inspected.

Method for detecting pattern defect
Wakitani Koichi,Yugawa Noriaki,Kawano Hajime,Sudo Susumu +3 more
- 22 Jun 2001
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method for detecting pattern defect in which the processing quantity in the detection of defect by the comparison of a pattern to be inspected with a non-defective pattern is reduced to improve the inspection speed.
