Comparison of the effects of Mg-6Zn and titanium on intestinal tract in vivo.
Jun Yan,Yigang Chen,Qingling Yuan,Song Yu,Wen-Cai Qiu,Cheng-Guang Yang,Zhigang Wang,Jianfeng Gong,Kaixing Ai,Qi Zheng,Jianan Li,Shaoxiang Zhang,Xiaonong Zhang +12 more
TL;DR: The study demonstrates that the Mg–6Zn alloy had good biocompatibility in vivo and performed better than titanium at promoting healing and reducing inflammation and may be a promising candidate for stapler pins in intestinal reconstruction.

H19 promotes pancreatic cancer metastasis by derepressing let-7’s suppression on its target HMGA2-mediated EMT
TL;DR: An important role of H19 is suggested in regulating metastasis of PDAC and some clues for elucidating the lncRNA-miRNA functional network in cancer are provided.

Hepatoprotective effect of exosomes from human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived mesenchymal stromal cells against hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.
Kate Nong,Weiwei Wang,Xin Niu,Bin Hu,Chenchao Ma,Yueqing Bai,Bo Wu,Yang Wang,Kaixing Ai,Kaixing Ai +9 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrated that hiPSC-MSCs-Exo alleviate hepatic I/R injury, possibly via suppression of inflammatory responses, attenuation of the oxidative stress response and inhibition of apoptosis, which suggests that the exosomes have a role in suppressing the inflammatory response.

miR-212 promotes pancreatic cancer cell growth and invasion by targeting the hedgehog signaling pathway receptor patched-1
Chenchao Ma,Kate Nong,Bo Wu,Bo Dong,Yueqing Bai,Hongda Zhu,Weiwei Wang,Xinyu Huang,Zhou Yuan,Kaixing Ai +9 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that miR-212 could facilitate PDAC progression and metastasis through targeting PTCH1, implicating a novel mechanism for the progression of PDAC.
Prognostic significance of S100A4 and vascular endothelial growth factor expression in pancreatic cancer
TL;DR: Over-expression of S100A4 and VEGF plays an important role in the development of pancreatic cancer and combined examination of the two molecules might be useful in evaluating the outcome of patients with Pancreatic cancer.
