Some aspects of matrix interference caused by elements of low ionization potential in inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectromctry
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of experiments performed with a 9 MHz free-running rf generator for producing an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) in argon were presented, where samples were introduced as wet aerosols after nebulization with a concentric pneumatic nebulizer.

Radial excitation temperatures and electron number densities in a 9, 27 and 50 MHz inductively-coupled argon plasma
TL;DR: The cooling effect of the central penetrating nebulizer gas on the plasma centres was clearly observed through a decrease in the excitation temperatures at the lowest observation heights above the r.f. coils as mentioned in this paper.

Ionization interferences under various operating conditions in a 9, 27 and 50 MHz ICP, and a study of shifts in level populations of calcium through simultaneous absorption-emission measurements in a 9 MHz ICP
TL;DR: In this paper, three monitored spectral lines of calcium were used to observe changes in ground and excited level populations of atoms and ions, in ion excitation temperatures using the two-line method.
