TL;DR: In this paper, a new type of wave power generation system was developed, in which water valves without mechanical operation were combined with air chambers and a test plant was installed on the south breakwater at Haramachi thermal power station, and testing for practical use was carried out at the Haramachi site from 1996 until 2000.
