Factors that Influence Mathematical Creativity
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors synthesize the characteristics of mathematical creativity, analyze the impact of specific teaching approaches on mathematical creativity and examine the relationship between student affect and mathematical creativity. But, they do not consider the relationship of student affect to mathematical creativity in their work.
How young children engage in and shift between reference frames when playing with coding toys
TL;DR: This research explores reference frames and reference frame shifts among young children as they are learning to program with a commercial coding toy and proposes two additional reference frames, ProtoEgocentric and ProtoAllocentric, that allow the consideration of developmental imprecision in children.
