Iodine-123 labeled reboxetine analogues for imaging of noradrenaline transporter in brain using single photon emission computed tomography.
Adriana Tavares,Nicola K. Jobson,Deborah Dewar,Andrew Sutherland,Sally L. Pimlott,Jeffery Batis,Olivier Barret,John Seibyl,Gilles Tamagnan +8 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that 123I‐NKJ64 may lack affinity and selectivity for NAT in baboon brain and 123I-INER is the most promising iodinated reboxetine analogue developed to date for in vivo imaging of NAT in brain using SPECT.
[I-123] 5-IA-85380 SPECT imaging of beta2-nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in recently abstinent mentally healthy and schizophrenic smokers
Julie K. Staley,Tahir Tellioglu,Frederic Bois,C. Palazzo,N. McGuire-Schwartz,Kelly P. Cosgrove,C H van Dyck,Gilles Tamagnan,John Seibyl,J.H. Krystal,Deepak Cyril D'Souza +10 more
TL;DR: To determine the effects of smoking on beta2-nicotinic acetylcholine receptor availability in control and schizophrenic smokers compared to control never smokers using SPECT imaging, I-123-IA 85380 ([I-123]5-IA) SPECT Imaging is used.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured NfL concentrations by immunoassay in a set of longitudinal CSF samples from 82 PD, 14 other neurodegenerative disorders (OND), and 53 healthy controls (HC), and a cross-sectional cohort with paired CSF and serum samples from subjects with 151 PD, 344 OND, and 20 HC.
