Factors influencing the aggregation behavior of residual associative polymer in produced oily fluids

Treating and reinjecting the wastewater of oilfield is a correct way to develop and use water resources at present. A novel-type humic cationic polymer was synthesized using humic acid (HA), dimethylamine (DMA), and epichlorohydrin (ECH) by aqueous solution polymerization. The optimal reaction conditions were determined. The reaction temperature was 65°C, the reaction time was 6.0 h, m (HA):m (ECH):m (DMA) = 1.0:13.9:15.0. The oil removal efficiency and viscosity reduction effects were investigated using the polymer-flooding wastewater of Daqing oilfield. The results showed that humic cationic polymer had good effect on viscosity reduction, polymer removal, and oil removal of the polymer-flooding wastewater. The wastewater after being treated can provide as reinjection water for chemical flooding, which also improve the utilization of the wastewater.

Lamadian Oil Field has been developed for more than 30 years.The water flooded status condition of all kinds of oil zones is relatively complex.This paper,using data of 11 sealing core inspection wells at different phases in Lamadian Oil Field,evaluates water washing condition of various oil zones for different types of oil layers and injection-production relations at different phases systematically,takes the analysis of oil field potential distribution and points out adjustment direction,providing the geologic foundation for polymer-flooded oil field up/down return and thick oil layer stimulation.

Evaluation on Producing Reserves of Lamadian Oil Field at Different Phases

Isoconcentration flooding systems were prepared, their viscosity, shearing resistance, viscoelasticity, stability and molecule clew size were measured and the impact of polymer-bearing wastewater on polymer performance was determined in order to study the impact of polymer systems prepared with polymer-bearing wastewater on polymer performance in the polymer flooding process of Daqing oilfield. The result indicates: at the same preparation concentration, the storage modulus, loss modulus, viscosity stability, molecule clew size and shearing resistance of polymer solution systems are increased with increase in the polymer concentration in wastewater, the properties of a fresh water system are better than those of a wastewater system, the properties of a physicochemical wastewater system are better than those of a biochemical wastewater system, and the residual polymers in sewage have good viscosity increasing capacity. Therefore, polymer-bearing wastewater improves the properties of polymer systems to a certain degree and can be used as water for polymer system preparation.

A Study of Properties of Dilute Polymer Systems Prepared with Polymer-Bearing Wastewater

The evaluation of use condition mostly depends on the test data, but lacking of data points or being limited by the accuracy of measurement at present. In order to solve this problem, this article studies on a new evaluation method of the use condition of water flooding, which based on the relationship between cumulative injection pore volume multiple and the water saturation. Firstly, using the data of water absorption, dynamic data, static data, and the development conditions to split injected water into small layers, and then distribute the liquid volume to the well based on the similar principle of water and electricity. Refer to standard of water level, determines the normalization and the limit of cumulative injection pore volume multiple. After the normalization of cumulative injection pore volume multiple as criteria of the evaluation of oil layers use condition. This method has been applied in A Block of Daqing Oilfield and the results are in good agreement with the results of interpret of well logging.
