Search Results Clustering in Chinese Context Based on a New Suffix Tree
Jiangning Wu,Zhijiang Wang +1 more
- 08 Jul 2008
TL;DR: A new suffix tree clustering (STC) algorithm for Web search results clustering, which is more suitable for Chinese context is presented, built in terms of Chinese words, of which meaningless phrases are ignored by an efficient strategy.

Distributed knowledge management based on ontological engineering and multi-agent system towards semantic interoperation
Yonggui Wang,Jiangning Wu,Zhongtuo Wang,Yanzhong Dang +3 more
- 28 Nov 2007
TL;DR: An architecture of distributed knowledge management, towards semantic interoperation (SiDKM) by introducing ontological engineering theory and multi-agent system (MAS) for distributed knowledge resources, is proposed in this paper.

An improved VSM based information retrieval system and fuzzy query expansion
Jiangning Wu,Hiroki Tanioka,Shizhu Wang,Donghua Pan,Kenichi Yamamoto,Zhongtuo Wang +5 more
- 27 Aug 2005
TL;DR: Experimental results show that the improved information retrieval system is capable of improving the retrieval performance both in precision and recall rates.

A query routing scheme based on the hierarchically indexed DHT for hybrid peer-to-peer search
Donghua Pan,Jiangning Wu,Zhijiang Wang +2 more
- 01 Jun 2008
TL;DR: A hierarchical peer-to-peer search framework is proposed that includes replacing the central node with a scalable peer- to- peer search sub-network to avoid the bottleneck of the centralized searching.

IAOM: an integrated automatic ontology mapping approach towards knowledge integration
Jiangning Wu,Yonggui Wang +1 more
- 14 Sep 2007
TL;DR: This paper proposes an integrated automatic ontology mapping algorithm based on three dimensions of linguistics, structure and instance combining commonsense knowledge with domain knowledge from the systematic point of view, and shows that the algorithm discovers semantic mappings with a high degree of accuracy.
