The invention relates to a graded vibration damper based on a shape memory alloy (SMA) composite spring. The graded vibration damper based on the SMA composite spring belongs to the technical field ofvibration damping, and comprises a cylinder body, a cylinder body cover, an external transmission shaft, an extension spring, an outer-layer spring and an inner-layer spring. The external transmission shaft is a cylinder; a plate surface is arranged on the middle lower part of the external transmission shaft; the size of a radial cross section of the plate surface is equal to the size of an innerradial cross section of the cylinder body; the external transmission shaft is coaxial to the plate surface; a plate surface end of the external transmission shaft is arranged in the cylinder body; one end of the extension spring is fixed onto the cylinder body cover, and the other end of the extension spring is fixed onto the plate surface; the inner-layer spring is arranged on the inner side ofthe outer-layer spring; one end of the outer-layer spring and one end of the inner-layer spring are arranged on the bottom part of the cylinder body and are fixed; a free end of the outer-layer springis higher than a free end of the inner-layer spring; and axes of the outer-layer spring and the inner-layer spring are coincided with an axis of the cylinder body. According to the graded vibration damper based on the SMA composite spring provided by the invention, under the action of different external loads, different vibration damping materials and parts are automatically matched through different loading conditions, so that a vibration damping effect is greatly improved.
