Efficacy, Toxicity, and Infectious Complications in Ruxolitinib-Treated Patients with Corticosteroid-Refractory Graft-versus-Host Disease after Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation
Sameem Abedin,Edward J. Mckenna,Saurabh Chhabra,Marcelo C. Pasquini,Nirav N. Shah,James H. Jerkins,Arielle Baim,Lyndsey Runaas,Walter L. Longo,William R. Drobyski,Parameswaran Hari,Mehdi Hamadani +11 more
TL;DR: Corticosteroid-refractory graft-versus-host disease (SR-GVHD) remains a significant source of morbidity after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation, and the role of continuing prophylactic antimicrobial measures in ruxolitinib-treated GVHD patients is supported.

Peripheral Blood Grafts for T Cell-Replete Haploidentical Transplantation Increase the Incidence and Severity of Cytokine Release Syndrome.
Renju V. Raj,Mehdi Hamadani,Aniko Szabo,Marcelo C. Pasquini,Nirav N. Shah,William R. Drobyski,Bronwen E. Shaw,Wael Saber,J. Douglas Rizzo,James H. Jerkins,Timothy S. Fenske,Anita D'Souza,Binod Dhakal,Chao Zhang,Steve Konings,Parameswaran Hari,Saurabh Chhabra +16 more
TL;DR: PTCy eliminates alloreactive lymphocytes but spares CD34+ stem cells and regulatory T lymphocytes, resulting in reliable hematopoietic recovery with relatively low incidence of GVHD, and CRS is a common complication after T cell-replete peripheral blood haploHCT, but post-transplant survival outcomes may not be affected in those with severe CRS.

Stem Cell Mobilization Yields with Daratumumab- and Lenalidomide-Containing Quadruplet Induction Therapy in Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma: Findings from the MASTER and GRIFFIN Trials.
Saurabh Chhabra,Natalie S. Callander,Nicole L. Watts,Luciano J. Costa,Bicky Thapa,Jonathan L. Kaufman,Jacob P. Laubach,Douglas W. Sborov,Brandi Reeves,Cesar Rodriguez,Ajai Chari,Rebecca Silbermann,L. TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated stem cell mobilization in patients following frontline induction therapy in the MASTER and GRIFFIN phase 2 clinical studies by examining stem-cell mobilization yields, apheresis attempts, and engraftment outcomes for patients from each study.

Direct HLA Genetic Comparisons Identify Highly Matched Unrelated Donor-Recipient Pairs with Improved Transplantation Outcome.
Ibrahim Vazirabad,Saurabh Chhabra,James Nytes,Vatsal Mehra,Ravi Narra,Aniko Szabo,James H. Jerkins,Binod Dhakal,Parameswaran Hari,Matthew W. Anderson +9 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that direct genetic matching of HLA loci may offer an additional means of HCT donor selection beyond traditional HLA allele comparisons and suggests that genetic similarity as defined by HLA sequencing may have a novel role in unrelated H CT donor selection.

Bortezomib-induced Severe Congestive Heart Failure
TL;DR: A 50-year-old female with newly diagnosed MM and no risk factors for cardiac disease that unexpectedly developed florid heart failure after 2 cycles of bortezomib and low-dose dexamethasone is described.
