Electric power consumption predictive modeling of an electric propulsion ship considering the marine environment
TL;DR: In this article, the authors predict the power consumption of an electric propulsion ship (EPS) in a marine environment by using a ship motion model including marine environment and an electric power consumption model.

Selection of PAUT probes for submarine pressure hull integrity assessment
TL;DR: In this paper, two sets of probe design parameters were selected by considering pressure hull characteristics and analyzed through modeling, and defect assessment results were compared based on ultrasonic signals of various simulated defects in specimens designed to be the same as actual pressure hulls.

Prediction of added resistance using genetic programming
TL;DR: A prediction method that can be used in the initial design stage for predicting the added resistance in waves, thereby contributing to the optimization of hull design and saving time and money is proposed.
