Reducing recurrent care proceedings: initial evidence from new interventions
TL;DR: It is concluded that the new services were able to foster relationships that ‘worked’ in reducing recurrent proceedings, and none of the women engaging with the services went on to experience what could be described as a ‘rapid repeat pregnancy’ within the evaluation window.

TL;DR: In this article, the behavior of female child sexual abuse offenders is placed into social context, challenging conventional perceptions of female offenders, femininity, and mothering, and highlighting the problems inherent in protecting children and identifying ways in which we can develop a clearer understanding of the social processes involved through an analysis of the denial and minimisation used by female perpetrators.
